About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the Role
Barwon Health are now recruiting for Otolaryngology (ENT) Unaccredited Registrars to commence in 2026. As the Unaccredited ENT Registrar you will be required to provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of patients to the Clinical Unit.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Overall care of Otolaryngology (ENT) surgery patients, both in inpatient and outpatient
- Prioritising treatment of multiple patients simultaneously according to urgency of conditions
- Organising relevant investigations in consultation with registrars and senior colleagues
- Documentation of changes in conditions, results of investigations and procedures which may alter diagnosis, management of discharge status clearly, in the patient record.
- Prescribing inpatient and discharge medications under guidance of senior doctors. Review medication lists regularly and be cognisant of important and common potential drug interactions and side effects

The successful applicants will also assist in general reporting and participate in the roster for after-hours, on-call and recall by the unit.
